April Brown, RN

April is the director of our surgery center. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the surgery center and is responsible for keeping our AAAHC certification current. In addition to these duties, April also assists the physicians in the operating room and in the office when needed. April joined our practice in May 2005 as a surgical technician, but received her nursing degree later that year. She began her duties as OR Director in August 2008.

Missy Debreczeni

Missy works at our Check-Out desk and is responsible for making return appointments as well as answering phone calls, confirming appointments, and mailing paperwork. Missy has been with us since September 2006. Patients love her outgoing and bubbly personality – which makes her perfect for the job.

Julie Evans

Julie is responsible for all Dr. Parker’s insurance and billing. She has worked in the medical field for twelve years – five of which have been in insurance. Julie is able to assist patients with any insurance or billing questions they may have. She joined our team in October 2008 and is a welcome addition to our practice.

Freida Floyd

Freida is responsible for all Dr. Pittman’s insurance and billing. She has over fifteen years of experience in the insurance field, and brings a wealth of knowledge to our practice. She is able to assist patients with any insurance or billing questions they may have. Freida joined our practice in October 2008 and has been a delightful addition to our team.

Derin Hill

Derin is the manager of the practice. She has been with the practice since 1997 and works behind the scenes to ensure that the practice operates effectively, efficiently, and to the highest standards our patient's have come to expect.

Heather Hudgins, RN, BSN

Heather is Dr. Parker’s nurse and assists him with all aspects of patient care. She educates patients prior to their surgery to ensure that they are comfortable and confident about their upcoming surgical experience. She is able to address any questions or concerns both pre- and post operatively. Prior to joining our practice in 2004, Heather worked in the Emergency Room at Athens Regional. “I love connecting with patients and getting them ready for surgery. And I am always so happy to see the transformations they have made.”

Natalie Hudgens, RN

Natalie is our recovery nurse in the surgery center. She assists in getting patients ready before going to the operating room and in waking them from surgery safely and comfortably. Natalie reviews postoperative instructions with the patient’s friend or family member prior to discharge and can answer any questions they have on the day of surgery. She is the newest member of our team and is a welcome addition.

Heidi Humphries, RN

Heidi is Dr. Pittman’s nurse. She has nine years of nursing experience and assists Dr. Pittman with all aspects of patient care. Heidi is dedicated to the well being of our patients and is able to address any questions or concerns both pre- and post-operatively. Prior to joining our practice in 2007, Heidi worked at Emory University Hospital and Athens Regional Medical Center. “I enjoy getting to know patients and helping them through the surgical process – both before and after surgery. It’s always rewarding to see the positive outcome and how happy patients are.”

Liz Moulton

Liz is Dr. Parker’s Patient Care Coordinator and guides patients through the surgical process. She makes the initial bond with patients, meets with them at consultation and schedules their surgery. Since joining our practice in 1998, Liz has worn many hats, but in the role of patient care coordinator, she has certainly found her niche. “Because I am also one of Dr. Parker’s patients, I like to share my own experiences with them so they have an idea of what they can expect as they go through this process.”

Michele Pemberton

Michele is Dr. Pittman’s Patient Care Coordinator. She manages the consultation process and meets with all surgical patients. She serves as patient liaison and is the patient’s primary contact during the scheduling process. Michele has been with our practice since 2001, and her many years of experience have allowed her to foster continuity of care with Dr. Pittman’s patients. “I enjoy meeting and getting to know patients. By working closely with each patient, I am able to help ensure that the patient’s surgical goals are met.”

Ashley Rowden

Ashley is the smiling face patients see when they first walk in our office. She answers phone calls, schedules appointments, and makes sure that everything is in order before patients are escorted to an exam room. Ashley joined our team in November 2006, and her professionalism and poise have helped make her an invaluable asset to our practice.
